Nursery & Reception: Learning About Pride and Togetherness

This week in Nursery we have been reading our new story 'All are Welcome' by Alexandra Penfold. It is all about celebrating similarities and differences. We have been talking about our similarities and differences and being welcoming to anyone who comes into our classroom, by saying 'hello'. We have been practising counting this week, singing lots of counting songs.

This week, reception have continued to show curiosity and enthusiasm each day. We are still exploring The Proudest Blue, sparking conversations about pride and celebrating what makes us special. In Maths, the children have had lots of fun exploring patterns using different colours, shapes and objects. They particularly enjoyed creating their own patterns using materials found around the classroom.
