Back

They have been practising using adjectives and have and using finger spaces and full stops in their sentences. In Maths, they have been using manipulatives to show their understanding of greater than less than and equal to. In Science they continue to explore the 5 senses through different experiments.
In Maths, Year 2 have been working on partitioning numbers up to 100. The children practised breaking numbers down into tens and ones, helping them to deepen their understanding of place value. In Geography, the children were introduced to the four main points of a compass: North, South, East, and West. They then put their knowledge into practice by giving each other directions and navigating their partners around the classroom using compass points.
