Year 3 & 4: Curious and Creative Learning

This week Year 3 have been working hard exploring their class story 'Stone girl, Bone girl'. They have created story maps and have been improving their writing by understanding when to use different punctuation. We have shown this knowledge and practised together by making a human sentence, including the correct punctuation.

This week in Year 4, the children continued their learning about the water cycle. They modelled precipitation using shaving foam and food colouring. The children completed several PIXL assessments – we were impressed with their focus and determination. In Geography, the children learned about the process of making chocolate as part of the unit on Brazil. In History, children learned about the role of the pharaoh in ancient Egypt. Another great week in Year 4!
