This week, Year 3 have been practising speech in our writing lessons and reading all about Rosa Parks and how important it is to stand up for what is right across both our reading and writing lessons. In Religious Education, we have been exploring important artefacts in Judaism to support understanding and inspire curiosity in our upcoming unit of work.

This week in Year 4, the children learned how electricity is created with renewable and non-renewable resources. They made predictions about whether materials were conductors or insulators and tested their predictions using circuits. In Geography, the children located Japan on a map and its relative location to the UK. In History, the children learned the locations of the Roman empire and compared its breadth to the ancient Egyptian empire which they learned about last term.
