This week, Nursery found a giant letter in the classroom along with some very big footprints, a giant sock and a very big, scruffy shirt. We had a think about who could have left all of these gigantic items and compared the items to human sized items. We opened the letter and found out that a giant called George came to the classroom at the weekend and washed his clothes! Our class text for the week is called 'The Smartest Giant In Town', which we have enjoyed reading and looking out for all of the rhyming words in the story.

This week we have been focusing on collage in Art, and the children created their final collage face pieces using their own ideas. In Maths, we have been learning about number sentences and exploring the composition of numbers up to 10. In Talk for Writing, the children completed both their innovated and independent writing pieces – we are so proud of their hard work and creativity!
