Nursery have come back to another busy week. We have started reading our new class text, 'Cave Baby' by Julia Donaldson about a baby who uses his imagination to paint pre-historic animals on cave walls. We have been exploring imagination and what it means to imagine. We have been practising our independence again and making sure we have a try at doing something before we ask for help.

This week the children have settled back into the school routine wonderfully and we have had another amazing week. To celebrate Pancake Day, the children enjoyed making (and tasting) their very own pancakes, carefully following instructions and working as a team. The children came in on Tuesday to see that one of our classrooms had been transformed into outer space! We had lots of fun exploring our new classroom environment and pretending that we were real astronauts. We also continued learning about important celebrations, including Ramadan, Lent and Lunar New Year, exploring different cultures and traditions.
