On Monday, the children in Year 1 returned to school to find out that a friendly tree giant had been spotted in the playground over half term. The children came up with a whole set of adjectives and similes to describe the tree giant. They then drew their own tree giants. Over the next few weeks, they are going to be learning how to write information texts using the tree giant as an example.

Year 2 have had an exciting start to the term as they stepped into the world of superheroes, designing their very own unique characters and putting their creative skills to the test in T4W. The children have shown incredible imagination and enthusiasm. They then carried this creativity into science, where they explored different habitats and thought carefully about what environments their superheroes would need to survive and thrive.
