Year 3 & 4: Ancient Greece, Island Adventures and Creative Learning
Back
This week, Year 3 have been exploring Ancient Greek pottery in art. They have created their own pieces out of clay to practise paint their ‘stories’ on before they make their finished product at the end of this half term. In Religious Education, they have been learning about the bible in Christianity and what this means to Christians.
This week, Year 4 have taken part in an island project where they have created their own island as a representation of themselves. Within this they practised their budgeting skills as they had to decide the priorities for their island and purchase these from their given budgets. In French they learned the names for family members and used these in sentences.
